CADAQUÉS

Cadaqués does not make anybody indifferent, it is the ideal place to relax in one of the streets of the old town or in one of the nice beaches of Cap de Creus. The difficult accessibility to the town explains its preserved popular architecture, the characteristic fishing activity and their own special dialect of the Catalan language with its salat.

Cadaqués offers a wide range of cultural and natural proposals to enjoy yours holidays: the old town, the Natural Park of Cap de Creus, the Museum-House of Salvador Dalí, the Museum of Cadaqués, the different art galleries, the International Music Festival of Cadaqués, etc.

 

PORTLLIGAT

The bay of Portlligat is one of the dalinians stages par excellent, it is placed in the north of Cadaqués and as the cabins of fishermen state, Portlligat was the refuge of many cadaquesencs but also the summering place of Salvador Dalí, whose house has become an unusual element that it already comprises of the landscape. In addition to the old centre of fishermen, Portlligat is formed by the islands of Portlligat and Sa Farnera and the set of beaches and small coves.

 

CAP DE CREUS

Cap de Creus was declared Natural Park in 1998; its marine surroundings, the geologic composition of its subsoil and the effects of the tramontana are the most excellent elements of this singular and impressive landscape.
In the lighthouse we found l'Espai Cap de Creus, the first scientific museum dedicated to providing information about the natural environment and the great geological of the park, an ideal place to go for a ride, to practice trekking and nautical activities like snorkel, diving, windsurf, canoe, kayak and guards among others.
