House-Museum Dalí

In 1930 Salvador Dalí settled in a small fishermen's hut in Portlligat, attracted by the landscape, the light and the isolation of the place. From this initial construction, for forty years he created his house, a group of huts linked by labyrinthine corridors, currently open to visitors.

The current House-Museum of Portlligat was the only stable house of Salvador Dalí, the place where he lived and worked regularly until 1982, with the death of Gala, he took up residence in the Castle of Púbol.

To visit the Dalí House-Museum it is necessary to make a reservation by telephone or e-mail and arrange a time to visit. Visits are organized in small groups and last approximately 50 minutes.
